How the internet has evolved and its relation to the film industry

At my age I have had access to convergent technology all my life

Technical convergence is the trend of technologies to merge into new technologies

Film industry diversifies products so they can produce and distribute across several media's.

We do not live in a world where media's are separated.All media such as (film,music and social networks) are all linked.

PROLIFERATION-the speed at which technology is adapted

Web 1.0-start of internet being a product (dot.com)

Web 2.0 (Current Stage)-focuses on power of community, allows information shared within a social media

Web 3.0-makes normal tasks like searching for things faster and easier.Acts as a personal assistance.Decides what you like for you (Semantic web)

Props

Props can be used to convey a general sense of the period. They can confirm the films genre using iconography. Iconography and distinguishing elements in terms if props and visual effects.

Settings

Settings help us understand when and where the film is set. Can give impression of particular period in history. Setting needs to link with correct costumes and props.
